I think that is a great solution. For a few reasons: 1) It's factual - we are all bisexual. Aside from reproduction, sexual intimacy is an expression of emotion, and that emotion is love. If we as humans are capable of loving both men and women, then we are capable of feeling attracted to both men and women. Therefore, we are all bisexual. 2) It provides you the freedom to pursue both men and women without scrutiny from either group. 3) It escapes the heavy social stigma of homosexuality - bisexual people are far less stereotyped than homosexuals and so you leave yourself vast amounts of freedom. 4) If you do choose to, or think it is important to, declare yourself fully homosexual in the future, this is a good interim step. 5) The truth is, homoesexual, heterosexual or bisexual, you are going to pursue whatever you are attracted to. We create these labels for the benefit of others, so they know how to place us for their comfortability. Stating that you are bisexual in essence frees yourself from any preconceived expectations of who you will or should be attracted to.
