the one who created death and life to test you all, which of you would be the best in deeds. and he is the most mighty, the oft forgiving.'
and he is God, i refer to him as He, but he is not male, nor does he favour males.

This is it, your existance is a test to see how you would use the free will that god gave you. and your actions will decide what you will attain in the next word. every cause has an effect. so your deeds will have an effect. You will reap in the consequences, good and bad.

Hmm I don't think my parents know my purpose. Only we (ourselves) are capable of discovering/defining our purpose. And if you want to put it in theological terms, God is within us all and therefore we as individuals are perfectly capable of determining our individual as well as communal purpose(s) in life.
