Female Hotties and their Family [+ favourites]

I would like to compile an informational list, celebrity by celebrity, what the family structure, past, and life was like for people like Britney Spears and Shakira and Jessica Simpson. I want to know what their relationship is like with their mom and their dad, what their parents' relationships are like with each other, and how their siblings are.

It seems a lot of the times, some celebs come from really hard lives before hitting it big. But the good thing is, as far as I can tell, eva's family structure and bond is and always has been close. So them turning out for the best only seems right.

is this kinda what you mean decius?

There are a lot of factors involved in something like this, and a lot of the time it is hidden.

My theory is that in order for a woman to create her identity of success off her body and base her confidence and lifestyle on something like that, she has to have had some issues in her past. What I am doing is trying to prove or dissprove this theory with evidence.

In regards to Eva, there are two main factors that I think contribute to her lack of security:

1) She was made fun of as an "ugly duckling" as a child. This happens a lot with a lot of female celebrities, as far as I know. I think this has seriously contributed to her wanting to prove that she is beautiful and desire-able/worth something.

2) They are Mexican-American so they certainly will have a cultural identity crisis just like lots of people who seek to find a place for themselves in the alien society that they grow up in.

3) From my experience, the modern Mexican culture is generally shallow when it comes to sex and sexuality which creates a sort of mental retardation which prevents people from looking at sexuality with a more spiritual and less animalistic approach.

I think these three factors support the notion that Eva Longoria has "issues", and she compensates for them by wearing lots of makeup and ensuring that she is always blemish free and the object of desire and worship of lots and lots of people.

Hey I know that this is not exactly the same as what your posting about but I have noticed exactly what your talking about with the goth and emo subcultures, every single girl I have ever spoken to that falls under these categories have been abused or raped, its interesting how psychological occurrences effect human beings and yes im sure most female celebrities would have some kind of common denominator linking them all although some would call it coincidence.

some of these girls do have "issues" and that gives their teen fans somethign to connect to. a lot of celebs try to fit the pictue of perfection. aris hilton for ex. but i mean theres s many photographers and other people out to get her that she cant possibly be "perfect "forever.

anyway back to the priginal post... i LOVE britney spears. i know a lot about her and personally i think a lot of famous stars have average/good lifes and relationships before stardom and then its comes to a fake fear level and then its mistrust and i dont even know you.... well i am using brit as my example. but the majority of stars are alright in their family lives i believe and the ones who arent their stories get blown up out of porportion and alll woe is me my mom hates me etc.

personally i think a lot of them start out as seminormal and them fame chnges them... brings out more bad ad more secretive in them

Chained Wings

Here are a couple of articles I came across the other day which might add another peice to the puzzle..

quote:
Britney, who has just been released from a psychiatric ward after being committed for the second time last week, is the subject of a tell-all Rolling Stone cover story that unearths a bunch of shady facts from the singer's past.

The story, titled 'Britney - An American Tragedy,' details how Britney's mum Lynne Spears let her daughter get a boob job when she was still a teen - a decision that turned out to be so bad for her, she had to get them taken out.

After going under the knife, “she regretted the implants, particularly because her chest was still growing,” a family friend says in the Rolling Stone article. “When her natural breasts became larger, she had the implants removed.” “When other girls did their boobs [they admitted it] and moved on, but Britney was brought up to lie about herself,” the source added.

The story also reveals how Britney never had a real relationship with her abusive, alcoholic father Jamie Spears - just one of several things believed to have led to the psychological mess Britney is today.

Her super-early foray into showbiz couldn't have helped, either. A choreographer for Britney's early videos told Rolling Stone that Britney never had a grip on who she was as a person. “Britney would come offstage after performing in front of 15 to 16,000 people and start crying because she thought she was terrible," he recalled. "The girl doesn’t know who she is.”

The story says Brit was never happy with how she was marketed in her wholesome teen idol days, pushing her label to let her look "sluttier". The same label allegedly bribed her with promises of shopping sprees to force her to work harder.
“If she didn’t want to come out of the trailer, the label would come to me saying, ‘Please talk to Britney, make sure she performs, and we’ll take you on a shopping spree,’” said a friend of Brits.

Ex-flame Justin Timberlake is also been revealed to have "had his head screwed on straight."

"He became the great force in her life, but it started a pattern — she began to look for guys to help her get away from the people who could control her,” said the mag's insider.

And here is how this type of low self esteem, taught at a young age by a society obssesed with looks, is passed from mother to daughter.

quote:
Plastic fantastic UK glamour model Alicia Douvall has revealed to a magazine that she will allow her 12-year-old daughter to get a boob job.

Her daughter Georgia's 13th birthday wishlist includes Kate Moss perfume, an iPhone and breast implants.

Sounds shocking, huh? But get a load of the mother - Alicia has admitted to having over 50 cosmetic procedures during the years, and is as famous for her plastic appearance as she is for her penchant for bedding celebs (she boasts Simply Red's Mick Hucknall and P.Diddy among her conquests).

Alicia and Georgia spoke to UK mag Closer about their shared love of fake boobs. 28-year-old Alicia revealed she is planning her 13th breast augmentation surgery, and Georgia talked about her aspirations to become a lingerie model when she gets older (something mum is OK with as well).

Alicia was a bit taken aback by her daughter's wish to enhance her still-growing body.

"I was surprised because I didn't know she was worried about her flat chest," she told Closer. "She's such a quiet girl, she doesn't say a lot."

But Georgia responded with: "I think my mum looks good. Because of her, I think it's normal to have surgery if something's not quite right."

Alicia defends her controversial decision to let her pre-teen daughter undergo the procedure.

"My mum always taught me to take care of my appearance and that's all I've taught Georgia. Surgery's just the modern-day next level."

She told the mag: "I think a girl with a nice, sexy figure will do really well as a model as long as she's managed well. That's why I'm happy for Georgia to have a boob job because it will give her a career."

"She's been at a modelling agency since she was about six. She'll be more famous than Britney!"

Alicia says she's had over 50 surgeries - and that her daughter will have a great career if she has a 'sexy' figure.'

So what's next for the ambitious pre-teen?
A name change! Yep, little Georgia has already had her name changed to 'Destiny' by her mother, in the hope it will help her in her quest for fame.

Alicia says: "I wanted to call her Destiny when she was born, but my mum said it sounded like a lap dancer's name. But she never much liked Georgia, so we decided to change it."

Hearing stuff like: "I think my mum looks good. Because of her, I think it's normal to have surgery if something's not quite right." makes me ill. Young girls are being taught that what is totally natural is not quite right.

Even with the total mess Brittany Spears life has become- mothers still want to thrust their daughters into the cesspool of fake celebrity, where no talent other than "a nice, sexy figure," big platsic tits, and a cool sounding name like Destiny, will guarantee you lots of money and lots of mental problems.
