Though I whole heartedly disagree with the War on Terror, I do have a lot of compassion for American soldiers. At this point, I feel that it is much more useful to encourage them to stand up against the actions of our government rather than criticize them for their own personal choice to join the armed forces. That song does a good job of showing compassion for soldiers, and it makes me feel a lot of love for them and understanding for what they go through. A song that can create a sense of love for a topic so filled with anger is very inspiring to me.
