Would you give up your materialistic life and freedoms for your ideals? Your free thinking?

heres a neat anaology:

I dont know if you've ever played the game monopoly if not its a boarde game about buying properties and trying to win basically.

Imagine a few people sat around the table playing and they invite you to play. You could say no and sit outside instead. Or you can play again. Thats 'freedom'; the freedom of choice.

The people playing will no doubt have fun and you might say look at them playing the silly game. But in time you'll see that it is actually more fun, and more of an experience, to play the game now and then, not all the time, but most of the time. It keeps things progressing, keeps the mind in tact and keeps exploration possible. It also keeps art a living thing for many rather than just one.

now, take out the word monopoly and change it for life or capitalism or materialism. A lot of people think humans should'nt be on this planet. Well...we are.
