i have to turn this in for class, just looking for feedback/ advice:

Your words flow in on the warmest breeze
When you touch it echoes off the cliffs
Your eyes reverberate through the trees
And your thoughts are the Nile’s gifts

Love is quicksand hidden in a swamp
Waiting for a critter to satisfy its urge
Does that mean I’m your victim?

I’m blinded by kisses of your light
They give me warmth and solace
I’m drowning in waves, but never trite
Your soft breath carries me to surface

Love is a disease, one without a cure
Burning through lungs, drying all tears
Does that mean I’m your victim?

"never give up, never give in"
