The BS you are unhappy with is not the fault of the internet. Information, like technology or nature, is not in itself the danger, it is how we use it and how we protect ourselves from it's inherent dangers (which are found in all things). Which is a factor based on how we are taught to govern ourselves. The strongest source of accessible information on important matters, as well as unimportant ones, is what you are so blithe'ly trying to condemn, and I cannot help but whole heartedly dissagree with your assertion. Like most things, just because some people fear and loathe something, doesn't mean they should have the right to take it from others.
