Im not sure your take on it, but it would be kinda cool if you could share files with members directly through pm's.

Problem is then CC would have to host it. The only other alternative is bittorent and I haven't investigated how to get that working yet.

would it be easier to use a system where files could be shared with members on at the same time as you, rather than uploading the file to captain cynic and then downloading like an email attachment.

That would be almost impossible, not to mention risky. Then CC would create a direct link between two members where one member is actually placing something on the other member's drive.

This can't be done via HTML hence I'd have to make a JAVA applet and I don't know how to code in JAVA.

I think bittorent is the best and most ideal method. Once I have some more time I'll look into activating that.

Then anyone and everyone can download whatever you want. We can have a bittorent forum as well.
