uc berkeley [+ favourites]

well folks i was granted admittance into UC berkeley... with my genetic major. its a huge step in my intellecutal career and personal growth. I just came back from a trip there and found the atmosphere to be breath taking... i cant wait till fall. Though what tickled my fancy was that Berkeley has one of the largest libraries in the country!!!! i am almost went into tears when i saw a couple of their 8 libraries on campus.

if anyone has an info they could give me on the campus plez do i want to be well prepared.

well done btw, i hate uni applications, they drove me mad. hopefully will be worth it in autumn though.

I just thought that would clutter up the site. I always saw CC as a discussion/debate site rather than another social network. But hey, it's all good.

Just remember, all, that any virtue; intelligence, physical fitness, humour, confidence, etc. is useless, but to become great a s aperson, we need as many virtues as possible...to become a master of all trades.

sorry attolia, i did not mean to offend you. Its just Undergrounds has helped me open my mind and expand ideas that i have had in the past. Since i first found this site 5 years ago i have come to respect this forum for what it is, a way for intellectuals to communicate and share ideas. I think of the people of undergrounds as a family. Once again i apoligize for turning this thread into another myspace... hehe

though i still want information on Berkeley, have any you been there, know people who are there or have any good tips on how to survive college plez help.

No need for apologies. I was just wondering whether I could turn this into a MySpace too . There have been times when I wanted to tell the world the stuff I've been upto. (I do not have use myspace btw)
