Assuming that you are fully aware of the operations of your government and are presented with much that they are doing with your tax dollars that is harmful to the planet and yourself, what can you do about it?

For example, if you resided in Nazi Germany during world war two and severely dissaproved of the killing of Jews, what could you do?

The reason this question is difficult is I'm implementing the stipulation that you must only suggest things that can be done that:

1. Are actually effective
2. Do not disrupt the stability of your own life. In other words, quitting your job and joining a peace movement is not an option, because you need money and your job. So, what can you do in your free time. What can you do on weekends.

Please exclude options that are highly passive and cliche. Writing your senator a letter doesn't result in anything so it's something that need not be suggested.

Also, what has to be done is not as important as what can be done. Do not speak about the theoretical nature of revolution or change. Address the question posed above, specifically, with the restrictions imposed.
