Could it be true... just one person?
Well what if you consider the smallest amount of time that could possibly be experienced…
Then consider that we may not all experience this time at the same time as everyone (and everything) else…
Then it would be possible for one living entity to move between all people (and things) without overlap…
Perhaps we’re all the same experiential entity moving between to experience the different lives…
Maybe it’s true, just that memory is stuck in the body and we could never possibly remember having been in someone else due to the non-transferable state of the memory…
Does this hypothesis have any strength? Let me know what you think…

would that mean that during the period of time when this entity wasn't possessing us specifically, we would just be sort of unconscious?

That entity would be us...
We may be fully conscious...
The only thing is that it would have no access, in that 'blip' of time it's in us, to access anyone else's memory as it would reside in us alone... at least at that point in time...
It's like point of view... it's just to hard to share to the nth degree at every, or even one, point of time...
It would have no access to the memory of being inside another person, and would act out of seeming individuality...
