| Brief Introduction to the new format  [+ favourites]
Lots of things have been upgraded and fixed and so there is too much to list. Some upgrades are features that are not yet activated but provide a means of activating them later. However, I'll point out some of the larger upgrades:
1. We can now embed videos from various different sources into the threads. Some of these videos can be very long, which makes it a good addition because you can actually come here to watch videos.
2. You can now outline text and click on "Bold" or "Underline" etc. to format it and the text in question will be enclosed in it. Note that this does not work if you use the keyboard shortcut, however the shortcut still works as it used to.
3. The user center has been moved from UGN to CC and includes the information in a more readily available format.
4. Avatars do not need to be approved. However, site administrators can delete your images and we are going to be much more strict about de-activating accounts if innapropriate imagery is uploaded.
5. The flash and image dimensions are larger now that we have more space in threads.
6. The time that shows up everywhere on the site will be in respect to the time on the computer you are using. So any posts will be adjusted in their time to be in reference to your current time.
