FX Networks has a new reality show where two families change races (they apply heavy Hollywood makeup.)

Check the link, post your thoughts. Do you think changing skin color will help the white family understand what it means to be black and vice versa?

"How can we be just in a world without mercy and merciful in a world without justice?"

We had a show like that a while back in the UK. It was on day time telly. It was a little strange to watch, as even though their skin colour had changed, you could still tell that they weren't naturally that colour. Their features weren't distinctive enough when transformed to Asian, and vice versa.

"my name says it all!"

Its cheap TV. They don't have to pay for any real actors or pay any real writers and is it really reality when all the participants know they are on TV.

Its simply rediculas

I've seen this too, it is an interesting concept and has alot to do with psychology I believe.

"Dark and silent and complete."

it would be an interesting thing if done properly, say make them up fully and move them into a new neighbourhood for a while, and they lived like that for a while, though it would be hard to do.
