It would be better to tell the admins about this instead of starting a thread. That's what they're hear for anyway.

I think this is a good thread. It gives people an opportunity to discuss their fallacies or defend their strengths.

And it gives me insight into how to restrict people and what not.

Then change the title to "Constructive Criticism" because it sounds like this could turn into a place of insult instead of "an opportunity to discuss fallacies or defend their strengths."

The first post simply gave the first name, not the title, if I'm remebering correctly, otherwise I would agree. But I still liked the ballsy title better, for a ballsy topic.

Suppose I was called an idiot or some other generic insult. What would that be telling me? It's not constructive. It's useless. I don't care if you insult anyone, but I just don't want this thread to turn to be useless bickering.

Her concern wasn't her personal desires, however. As she stated in her first post it was for the benefit of the site.

Although I do agree that even being called an idiot is a form of criticism and it is your perogative to learn from it or not.

many times, usually when i have said something really bad ass, okcitykid just ignores it. which annoys me, because the point of this site is to talk.. about stuff. and he only ignores me when i say something "defeats" him..
i dont like it when people do that.

i believe the majority of CC members lack compassion. perhaps it is simply difficult to demonstrate compassion on a forum, but the posts many people make lead me to believe that most simply care about themselves. everyone is so caught up in their own problems and finding their own way in life that they cant or wont concern themselves with others.

some even go so far as to find ways of justifying their lack of compassion, which i think is bullshit.
