I by no means kick someone in the head who is already down. I have fought with people in the past...but they were wierd assholes who spammed my inbox with naked pictures or telling me yucky things they would want to do to/with me.

I do talk great about myself constantally because I think I am great. I have had a TERRIBLE life, and throughout all of the crap i've had to deal with...I came out smarter, kinder, and more caring of my fellow man. But being stuck on myself dosen't mean im not COMPASSIONATE.

Please explain your reasons. I am dying to know.

you simply come across as a person with a very intense personality. i feel that your intensity and self absorption may get in the way of your ability to be compassionate toward a person who may be rubbing you the wrong way or intimidating you due to their own insecurities.

as you stated, you have faught with assholes. i am not a fighter, i make every attempt to understand why a person may be behaving in a certain way and then attempt to resolve the matter in a way that meets both my needs and theirs. naturally some cannot be reasoned with.

i still feel that everyone i mentioned has a lot to offer and a lot of potential for greatness.

I honestly don't think that anyone on captain cynic has a big ego in real life anyway. I think some of us are rather timid in real life but suddenly has balls when their behind a computer on captain cynic. Almost like they be what they want to be and get their fantasy tickled.

How about I criticize myself? I'm too wordy. Better than when I first came to this site, but still wordy. Trying to cut down.

Really, it's a miss-match for us to be speaking. You're from a different world and you're searching for different things. You think it's truth but it's not. It's a sense of self.

A lot of you guys at your age are... you, ancient (sleepingwraith), etherealmeekle, summit... You're all guys who don't know what you are, so you cling to borrowed ideals and then defend them because you'll lose who you are without them.

And when I point out that your ideals are a lie... that makes what you identify with a lie. So you feel threatened and your insecurities rage up with anger and hostility.

Attiola is a good example of someone who slowly alters herself to accomodate new ideas without feeling a loss of self. She builds herself up gradually using information whilst losing old parts of her in a controlled method.

Wyote is also like that, although he's much more stable in his direction now.

You see, unless you're willing to throw everything you know out of the window given new evidence, you're no scientist. And anyone seeking truth has to be a scientist.

Your questioning often wrongfully assumes a premise without fortitude. Your posts often take form as a roadblock where any insightful information about an assumption to diss-prove something is lacking miserably. This exhibitionist behaviour of yours provides you with an illusion; you simply interject to confer that your assumption can’t be possibly wrong. And as a defensive mechanism, you seem to digress the discussion into your own tool of distortion, in order to portray your dominion.

Your torment of frustration, whatever its immediate cause, is the knowledge that the self is in prison, its vital force and "mangled mind" leaking away in lonely, wasteful self-conflict. Your profanity is the attempt of a lazy and feeble mind to express itself forcefully. Logicians have but ill defined as rational the human mind. Logic, they say, belongs to man, but until you can provide logical and evidential reasoning beyond your limits of your attitude and naive motives then your words will remain within an unjustified dictating bubble. Yes I do have an INTENSE personality. Don't we all here. I pretty much consider myself the stupidest here...yet the smartest "street smart" person. I keep it real. Does that make me too intense?

Vague and mysterious forms of speech ^ have so long passed. Hard or misapplied words with little or no meaning have, by prescription, lack constructiveness.

hmm, is it me or does everytime that someone is crtisized, that person always tries to defend him/her self? This probably arises because of the tone of the crtisizer, which is also one of 'I am better than you'....cause and effect.
