Shadow of the Colossus [+ favourites]

also known is NICO, also considered ICO2. one of the more original games out there right now. i played ICO long ago, it was a very strange yet beautiful game. this one can be called the same, but i am much more impressed this time around.

youve got to have a pretty strategic brain for most of this game. for a seasoned gamer its just a fun ride all the way through, but for others this game may be quite frustrating. there is a lot of satisfaction in bringing down huge Colossi, i found myself feeling more and more accomplished with each one taken down.

for really serious gamers there is a hard mode and time trials mode to earn extra goodies. this provides a pretty good amount of replay value as well.

It's seriously one of the best games I've played on the PS2. Just as great as ICO in a different way. Best adventure game ever by far, and it can easily compete with the huge commercial games out there. My highest recommendation...check out the reviews on http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/review/924364.html, there wasn't any review below a 9 for about 2 weeks after it's release (out of around 15 or so, at the time).
