what to do i an about to get married she has a little girl from her first man but can not have any more i was ok with that but over the last 12 weeks i have started thinking about kids an how i would like my own what do i do

I the youngest of 4 came from a family similar to one you are talking about. My mother married a man at the age of 18 and had two girls. Her husband died from cancer. About 5 or 6 years later she met another man. She married him and had two sons one of which is I.

Now my father just simply treated the other daughters as if they were one of his own. They ended up adoring him for it. I didn't even find out that my sisters were half sisters till I was 12. I didn't even suspect that they weren't and no one really even brought it up. This really kept our family close and didn't cause an unnecessary rip down the middle.

There is a small chance you are being selfish. If she can’t have more children than she simply cannot. With all the available children available for adoption though there is a way anyone can have children.

Might I give another option? Have you considered being a big brother? There are also several children out there with one parent and they could always use a good role model, friend, and the parent could use a break. If what you are trying to give is honest there are people who will accept.

I agree with the guy who suggested adoption, there are far to many kids out there who need parents, but dont get them. people are far to concerned with having their own kids. I find the overuse of IVF sickening, with the worlds population still increasing, and the number of orphans around the world, if you cant have kids, give some one elses a good home. i understand that it could be difficult, and that that may put some people off, but children are difficult full stop.
