a=b=0
a^2 = a*b
a^2-b^2 = a*b-b^2
(a+b)(a-b) = b(a-b)
(a+b) = b
a+a = a
2a = a
2 = 1

The error here is that a=b=0
Thus, a-b=0

When you do this:
(a+b)(a-b) = b(a-b)
(a+b) = b
you divide by zero, something that is illegal in math.

in theory with variables it works, but with real numbers it doesn't work because of the zeroes. but you get the zeroes when you simplify, as one should, but without simplyfying it, I believe it works out.

Hence dividing by zero is the prelude to the end of the universe.
