One does not have to accept the truth because it is commonly believed that truth is relative to each person and therefore how can people ever hope to be one?

Truth being relative is a common miss-conception that people overcome as they mature, just like many things they must un-learn as they age. (and naturally do... some quicker than others)

Of course it isn't true but as mentioned in another post we must allow people to be ignorant so we must play along and keep encouraging them to think that truth is relative otherwise we risk pushing our own ideas onto them.

Of course not... encouraging false notions does not help people. You tell them of the truh as you see it and the reasons why and when those impulses begin to take shape in them, then they themselves will also make connections that make them believe it.

One is not allowed to influence another's belief system. Because your idea suggests changing a person's way of life and this is unacceptable in a political correct world.

Not at all. Information sharing is the basis of human evolution as a species.

that is extremely irrational. As Decius mentioned, without influence; language, information, education, technology and belief systems would be non-existent. We have evolved through the influence of others. What you should consider is- is it morally correct for an individual to freely choose to either accept or disagree with a certain belief system (considering one's context in education, age, culture, society). most belief systems (especially religions) are continually generated and survive through the brainwashing of ignorant individuals.

if you are Christian; ask this:

where did Jesus get his magical gifts fom?

rid your ego and the belief in the materialistic and there lies God; he is the source of Jesus and Jesus was the source Chritianity; step beyond Christianity; step beyond the name of Christ and let your imagination tke you to this place free of thrones; but where if you wish there can be a throne

This is why political correctness would see it stopped. Ignorance is strength. In a political correct world we must play dumb. We are being brainwashed to accept all ideas as the same thing.

This is true, but you are approaching the situation as if we've already lost. Fortunately, we live in a reasonably democratic world where a forum like this may exist, where truth can be explored and shared.

And as I said earlier, even though the world is more wrong than it is right, once a person knows what the truth is, it is nearly impossible for them to let go of it. Whereas someone who believes in falseness can always be re-educated.

This by no means causes them to act on truth though. People who challenge the ideals of society are labelled as fools. Truth is kept relative so we can call everyone right. This is kindergarten all over again gold stars for everyone! Now everybody is made happy because they can sit in the knowledge that they never have to think in order to be right. Ignorance becomes the most prized mindset and we all lose.

I do not believe that people are able to act in a way that opposes what they truly believe to be the correct path.

Any apparent deviances from this is an indication that they have not fully realized the truth.

What I am saying is that if they are made to stop thinking how can they possibly realize the truth? By giving a convenient answer to the people it stops them from pursuing the issue further so they are unable to find truth.

etherealmeekle: your arguement is biased.
The meaning of 'truth' is so vague. What you may fail to realise is that your 'truth' isn't universal. Meaning and value of human beliefs and behaviors have no absolute reference to truth. Each person has their own, personal, truth. Truths in the human sense are ever-changing. Truth varies between person to person. It is always dynamic depending upon one's knowledge and growth. Truth depends on your culture, religion, education, governments and the media. Moral truths are socially constructed. It is all ethically confusing, and therefore impossible to put truth as one.

This is exactly what I mean. If you tell a person that truth is relative then they have no need to think beyond what they are told. This is how political correctness works; it stops our need to think so we simple accept everything as 'truth'
