i think there must be an "ultimate truth" but not just one, there must be ultimate truths about all things. an ultimate truth about why we exist, on about if god exists, and others about other things both as big as these, or more mundane. as for love and truth being the same, i believe in both, but they are not the same, love is a feeling, truth is a definition. you can have true love, but truth is not love, you can find out the truth about something without any love, i admit that if you love someone, it is harder to lie to them, but that does not mean love is truth. Truth is probably greater for people in general, but love is greater for the individuals involved. which would you prefer, to know the ultimate truth about the universe, but be alone in the world, or to be loved? i know i prefer the latter.
