Why should I stop? Do I have to live my life with the expectation of being wrong?

I never said it was foolish I said I might be wrong. I highly doubt it but it is possible.

not the game. the story. apperently you have never played a final fantasy, but they are more moving than the bible. and yes, i am prepeaed to accept that i am wrong.
and you have stoped defending god. concede?

Your are correct, never played the game but then I am not much into playing games. So the story told basically parallels your opinion of: GOD; religions; bible [what?]

the control behind the masses of religion. the reason why they had this 'faith' was to control society.

What faith do you refer to? If you are talking about religious faith then are you saying that the people believed their own lies? Because if so then they are subject to the control and not masters of it and therefore no one has control.

So you think that people just made God up and then they believed in their own lie? That being the case who would be controlling people? You can not use a lie to control someone if you yourself also believe the lie to be true

Such is the lie behind most religions. Often status or rank is taught and enforced. This concept is not there in a real Christian church.

In the Christian church there are leaders and administrators to keep things operating properly. But all members of the church hold the same status. An elder for example is not more important than the next guy.
This does come up and is not as strictly followed as it should be but the emphasis is not on position.

So you think Christians have power over other people's thinking?
