This fall im going to college. i am probably the most antisocial person youll ever meet. Does anyone have any tips about interacting with people my first year? Should i try and be social and try new things? or should i just continue my old ways. How do i make friends w/o seeming corny. i hate being all... hi, how are you, im good thank you. blahblehblah....

im very anti social myself. i remember my first year very well. keep in mind everyones experience is different. during my first year i was extremely anti social. i rarely left my room. i had a lot of offers to do things, go places ect. but i never took advantage of them. i think in college, you dont have to do a whole heck of a lot to become a socialite. simply take advantage of offers that are givin to you right off the bat. dont blow off homework, but realize its ok to put it on hold to go out and do something. also, if you realize that people are just as desperate to find friends and things to do as you are, it becomes easier to ask around for entertainment.
