Hey ppl. Well it's bin a long time, and still it happens that if you take some time to post, when you submit it all gets lost! Decious, if somehow it can get fixed it would be really great, otherwise it will add to our sorrow in life's highway of despair!(ok a bit dramitic but still...)

notice that theres another thread complaining about the same problem. What did I loose?Lol man, everytime I spend more than 10-15 min on a post, I have to sighn in again,and by that time the post disappears! I think this happens especially when you have allowed the computer to remember ur login name and password.

It probably has something to do with the what your doing, cause I have never had this problem.

On the sign in page, there is a check box for "let us remember you".

Do you keep that checked all the time?

If not you will always have to re-sign it because there is a time limit so that if you leave the page open it can not be used by someone else other than you that might come along (say if using a public computer).

Could be a browser problem if your yousing internet explorer try-
Going to tools/internetoptions and on the general tab delete the cookies and clear the history.
on the content tab goto the auto complete button and clear the forms and passwords- hit ok on bottom of this
goto the advanced tab and at the bottom is a restore defaults button hit that

all that will restore your browser to its default state.

or if it persists write your reply's in word pad or any other word processing program then copy and paste it in.

Also could be your firewall acting up try posting without it on. Also check to see if you have a current browser IE 6 with 128 cipher stregnth - goto help and the about internet explorer to see this info-
If non of that works - your browser may be screwed and its time to call your manufacturer or MSn for a browser repair.

yes firebird, when u don't tick that box, then the time limit comes into play.

I'ave noted this problem before but wasn't sure of the cause.
Reading a string of comments, you find something to which you want to address so when you reply you find later that the post seems to be in the wrong thread? Somehow a crossed link seems to appear so perhaps multiple windows might be at fault or as I loggin in 1 window & I found that another thread window is logged in as well?
