1. Keep your posts on topic.
2. Try to contribute to the discussion at hand.
3. Respect and listen to the administrators.
...are implemented for these exact reasons...
1. To provide information as quickly as possible to those who seek it.
2. To keep the forums organized and easy to browse for new and old members.
...and your objections should be...
1. Directed to an ON-TOPIC thread.
2. Directed to an administrator.
3. Directed to me.
...in that order.
The site is and will always change, but that does not mean you can't "have fun". I don't think the rules are unreasonable as most other forums are much more strict.
If you cannot abide by the rules, the administrators (including myself) will "administrate", which includes warning you, editing/deleting your post, or even further, removing your posting priviledges.
