its got that QT flair to it. i think it would have been a lot better if it had been seperated into chapters or sections like QT does in his movies (with actual titles, instead of just a few moments of darkness like Sin City). the exact time frame of all the events was not very clear, but it was easy to understand general time frame with the reappearance of dead characters and age growth of others. there were some extremely cheesey moments but for the most part they were forgivable. and although im not familiar with the comic, i know many comics do tend to have cheesey one liners. another thing that bothered me was the constant internal monologues. again, im sure the comic book was full of them, but i thought it was far to overly dramatic and over used in the movie. on the up side, it was very stylish. Elijah Woods character was a ten on the cool factor in my book. the appearance of Micheal Madsen and Clarke Middleton was amusing. 6.5/10
