i know a lot of guys will be interested in a topic like this. there are entire websites dedicated to this alone. i encourage the women to get involved too.

ok, so if you are anything like myself, you have had numorous "who would win" discussions with your peers. the idea here is to come up with the most interesting match up for a fight. they can be celebrities, comic book characters, movie characters, even books and video games. explain what would happen in the fight and who would win. ill list some examples to get started. if anyone wants to argue for or against a side just jump right in. add any more that you would like to discuss as well.

Lara Croft vs. Jill- Jill would win. I get a more die-hard flexible feeling from Jill than Lara.
Beatrix Kiddo(Kill Bill) Vs Kenshin Himura(Rurouni Kenshin) - tough one. I'd say draw.
Odyseus Vs Achilles- Achilles, no doubt.

(Side note: I found out there's a movie called Battle Royale where players have to be the last one standing. It's a bloody fun movie to watch as lovers and brothers kill each other to survive.)

Ironwood would begin telling me about how the US constitution is being raped and he would depress me into a chaotic meltdown... however, before I fall flat on my face and die I will begin suggesting to him that he change his life and begin to invest energy in really productive manners... his own wormhole of depression will then kick in and force him near the brink of meltdown...

At that point, I really think it's anyone's game. However, I believe my ability to react like a cat given the most mind numbing depression would permit me to quickly kick him in the shins, pulling out a victory.
