I can only sympathize, to be frank, the West is simply to disorganised and made too busy with Iraq to really help anywhere. What with developments in Ukraine, the West really can't afford to antagonize Russia much more. Already Putin is starting to support the Iranians much more openly. Its sad, but its not wise to make 150 million Russians our enemies for the sake of 1 million Chechens, I can't see the sense of another Cold War. Consider this, openly supporting Chechens with arms could very well escalate the conflict, or entice Russia to see the West as its enemy and thereby encourage Russia to see its claims on Ukraine, Belarus and the Baltics seriously. I support you principle, but I don't think the West can help in practice.
