my girlfriend and i are having problems well im not but she is.i am the tattooed and peirced metal head and she is a cheerleader staight A college girl and she loves me and i love her more than anything but she hates my getting tattoos and i am always going from job to job but that is how i am and i also smoke ciggerettes she wants me to stop all of that and do what will make her happy and ill do anything to make her happy but it will make me sad in the process we are two totally different people ya know oppisites attracked right we have been together for 10 months now and i dont want to lose her but if i dont change i will i cant let that happen i dont know what to do HELP ME OUT PLEASE!!!!!!!!

well first off, dont change who you are. youll both feel guilty about that later on. if you want to better yourself for her then that is different though... try to explain to her why you must do the things you do and behave the way you do. she may just not understand what your thought process is.

if she expects you to change, then she should be willing to make some changes of her own.
