I was befuddled by Journalistic censorship in the 6th grade. I was a main illustrator for a school newspaper and drew a turkey on a plate, with a knife and a fork, but the turkey was a cartoon, alive, and looking at you. My librarian who kind of headed the operation as editor below the cheif editor, the steeple fingered principle, made me take the knife out, I forget exactly what she said, either something about violence or something. Guess she really saved that turkey's life.
