I don't think it's necessary to establish any factual basis for the events depicted in Genesis. Is it really necessary to prove the Bible in order to have a strong faith in God and Christ? Even if the genesis of the universe and man depicted in the Bible were nothing more than symbolic analogies, would that really mean that one's faith could not remain as strong? Why waste your time trying to convince others that the Bible is a science book? Such attempts make it seem as though you cannot be sure whether it is true or not, especially when arguments tend to appear like "grasping." Why not live true to your own faith and forget about what needs to be proven to others. I don't think there will ever be convincing arguments for the Bible's creation events, and maybe that's the way it's supposed to be. Maybe faith despite opposing evidence is all that's important. Anyway, that's my rant. Thanks for listening.
