One way to prove something is true is by making predictions with it. Science makes predictions every day, from the trajectory of a meteor to the odds of having diabetes.

If science and the Bible agreed all along, WHY DIDN'T THE BIBLE MAKE THESE PREDICTIONS?

Oh by the way, I was wondering about the creation theory, do stars include all stars or was it indicative of those producing radiation only in the visible region of light?
As the ancient people knew only the points of lights as stars

I'm not talking about events. If the bible says the same thing as science, why does the bible not predict the same things science does?

Ancient peoples would only know those points as stars, yes. Though it changes nothing, the almost all stars visible or not were created before the sun. So this is moot.

As a sidenote was man created before or after animals?

Well it all depends on when the hydrogen clouds came together. Since all the earth's materials came from a star, there was a star before our sun and earth.

I agree extremelly with Dumbteen on this topic.

He makes good points and disproves theories that you guys are putting forward.

And what most people don't seem to realise, that the Thread title is "Science is prooving the bible" or some other sort of nonsense, but that is incorrect, Science is never the strongest proof, due to the fact every scientist has their bias' and interpretaions of the things they read, see, discover etc...
so for all we know, the people who wrote those articles, are biased and belive in God, therefore are going to be more leiniant (spelling?) towards that end of this arugmentative spectrum on this topic.

Therefore....this thread is shit
and a waste of time.

And if anything, science proves that God didnt make the world, and that it was a natural occurance, following the life of planets, stars and entire solar systems, which have been proved and approved by practically any scientist from high school - professers, with half a brain. (well the majority that is, and therefore, accepted.)
