Hey ppl. Well, we all know that thoughts are formed by interactions of particles in the brain. But what starts those interactions? I mean, if I decide to do something, my decision itself is created by interaction of particles, so what tells the particles to start interacting???

the ways in which they interacted before. the physical process of thinking is a chain reaction like any other physical process, though ordered and exact.

But what starts the chain reactoin? Other physical processes are caused by the brain. Do we really decide ourselves, I mean, as i said, me making a decision means that as you said, a physical process will start, but what starts that physical process?

Well IF our thoughts are molecules moving around in our head, then there is no free will. We will and want whatever our brain makes us will and want.
