It may be a baby chow-chow. But I've read that the dog may have been dyed a different colour to resemble a panda. I think its quite cruel to dye its fur.

Heres a liger- a genetic cross of a male lion and a female tiger. Stands 10 ft tall, and is predicted to be 12ft at maturity.

I love tigers soo much Ligers are pretty cool too. A 12ft. tiger would be rediculous if you actually had a chance to be next to one.

Ligers' life span is from 20 to 25 years. Lions also live up to this time; at least, the oldest known lion died at 26. A liger is the largest hybrid cat. The appearance of the liger, differs depending on the sub-species of the lion and the tiger. Male ligers are sterile. Female ligers are fertile though.

It is known that lionesses must be sedated in order to mate with a leopard or tiger. The urge to mate can be so strong that a lioness in heat may willingly allow a smaller leopard to mate with her.

The first image below is not a lion. Its not a tiger. Its not a straight liger as well. Its called a ti-liger- tiger father and liger mother.


The second image below is called a tigon- male tiger crossed with a female lion. Its smaller in size than a liger (left- male. right- female).

Other large hybrid cats are:
A "leopon" -- a hybrid of lion and leopard;
A "jaglion" -- a hybrid of lion and jaguar;
A "pumapard" - a hybrid of puma and leopard.
A "boblynx" -- a hybrid of bobcat and lynx;
