Is this evidence of a link between terrorists and Iraq? The video bore the title “Abu Musab al-Zarqawi shown slaughtering an American.” It was unclear whether al-Zarqawi — an associate of Osama bin Laden — was shown in the video, or was claiming responsibility for ordering the execution. Western officials say al-Zarqawi, whose real name is Ahmad Fadhil al-Khalayleh, is a lieutenant of bin Laden. The United States has offered $10 million for information leading to the capture or killing of al-Zarqawi, saying he is trying to build a network of foreign militants in Iraq to work for al-Qaida.

Why in the world would a terrorist want to move into the center of a war zone? Would you? I tend to think that as a terrorist, someone that wants to cause havoc and terror, I would rather move to Cleveland so my work would show up. It is easy to write off Berg as somebody sticking his nose in where it didn't belong. Not a real quality target.

What if you're a terrorist who can't a visa to get in the US?
The terrorist wants to hurt America, what better way then to contribute to the war-effort against America?

They have been told the West is weak and will not fight. Their attacks against Spain proved this. The terrorists belive America will cut and run like Spain. I do not think Bush will cut and run.

But then the US might.
If Americans see they have less security after the Iraq war then why not vote for someone else?

Spain is a different case. Spanish 'troops' are non-combatant. The logic behind Spain's withdrawal was 'if we're getting our public asses kicked for providing medical assistance to the Iraqis then lets go home and let them suffer'. Spain has never entered a U.N. conflict as a combatant, nor a U.S. conflict as a combatant. Cut and run? Bush has everything to lose if he pulls out and nothing to gain. The Iraq War is Bush; Bush is the Iraq War.

One is naive to believe that this is the only shell in Iraq. Please define then what is considered WMD? Someday, even liberals will have to acknowledge that there are some evil people out there. It would be absolutely great if all people were inherently good and war was not necessary. Sad fact is, there is evil people with ambition to kill and expand.

Of course there are evil people out there.
But the really dangerous ones are in North Korea, not Iraq.

All countries have different situations. North Korea is extremely dangerous and they have nuclear capability. You treat each according to the situation. China, as a neighbor should be the lead in having North Korea disarm. Surely your not advocating attacking North Korea?

If an Iraq with no WMDs is worth a war, a North Korea that clai;s to have Nukes is worth 10 wars.
