We currently have a couple of these on retainer in different states. While I am having no problems with mine, probably as I have been in a round about way informed because they are paid in full.

That another's future is hanging in the balance for over a month? I have done everything humanly possible to get the information out there to be seen. Yet this specific attorney will not relay any information.

Kinda of a vent topic, sorry guys.

It is so lame that the legal system is about winning a contest at all costs as opposed to finding fair or proper Decisions. Perhaps one day we will move out of that mentallity0 however that is a long way off...

To bad the Justice system seems to be more about who can hire the best lawyer than seeking the truth and producing a just recompense.
A pet peeve for many of the people!

This thread needed an update and closing for those that are familiar....

Today, we were awarded Full Permanent Custody of our Grandson, along with Child Support equal to 25% of the monthly income of the non-custodial parent, and the non-custodial parent is allowed supervised visits in Texas after the non-custodial parent contacts us via email to set it up. This was after the attorney for the non-custodial parent tried to withdraw, but wasn't allowed to..and therefore, the Judge agreed to hear and finalize the case.

Keeping in contact with Attorney's is a HUGE part of any case.

Middle of the month and No CHILD SUPPORT. Wow, did you know that in Texas they will take your Driver's License, and/ or give you jail time for not paying child support?

I was informed by the people that do Supervised visits, that being Charged with Sexual Assault 3rd Degree, isn't that they are trying to convict someone, it shows that it has already been proven and just awaiting a Jury's decision on how much jail time?

I seem to be getting extremely handy at getting information, without leaving my own livingroom.
