Intelligent is defined as to be "able to understand". But I think one also has to be intelligible..." capable of being understood", in order to be an intelligent person.

Just because one is able to understand doesn't mean one will.
Take a child for example...a child starts life with an open mind...but if the teacher(whoever that may be) is not intelligible then the child will not understand.

Repeated over a long period of time, will this child become a close minded person?

Being open minded is something we start with in life, its the way we are brought up that changes us...no yes?

Trying to get someone who has been inside the box most of their lives, to step outside the box....I think is going to be tough.

So we better start at the beginning.

I consider my self dumb, and i think we are all dumb, for one reason, we are not any closer to figuring out the unverise then the bum on the side of the street. Hell he might even know the secerts of the unverise, that is why he is a bum...
