So happy we were to make this decision
A decision so big
so wonderful
We were gonna have a child of our own.
Try as we may, we could not make it happen
Tests came to prove it would never be
The pain was sharper then any knife
he held me tight and said it would be okay
I knew it wouldnt
I would never share that joy of having a child of my own
As I lay there crying
wondering what to do next
I realize I will be okay, Im loved by many people
I will have nieces and nephews that I can pour love into
There will be friends having babies also.to baysit
There will be children in my life, just not
a child of my own.
"Why try so hard to fit in when you were born to stand out!!"
