Wyote Did you se predator 2 with Danny glover? I liked that film a whole lot more so than the first. It has been at least 10 years since I have seen either.... Tron was pretty good as well and the extended version of Aliens is awesome if you have not seen that as well.

Sounds like quite a premise for a movie- that should be rally wild- any idea what happens in this one? It would be so cool to have this movie on a distant planet with no humans in it at all...

This took a lot more thought than I anticipated.
The foreign films in their original language only - not dubbed!

1. Léon (The Professional)
2. L' Amant (The Lover)
3. Hsi Yen (The Wedding Banquet)
4. Diva
5. Ran
6. Lucía y el sexo (Sex and Lucía)
7. Valmont
8. Young Frankenstein
9. Metropolis (any version, esp like the Moroder ver.)
10. Pulp Fiction

What is it about Groundhog Day? I had to fight to keep it off my top 10, but it would certainly be #11. It doesn't fit into any pattern like a lot of my favorites do, but I would turn off the news of an unprovoked nuclear attack on NYC to tune into the middle of Groundhog Day. Maybe it is Bill Murray - I love his films (Lost in Translation was made by Murray).

I love Groundhog Day too. I've loved since I was really young.
And I just saw Lost In Translation a few days ago, it was great! I think Bill Murray just has that way of doing totally likeable characters.

Interesting least favorites Windupnostril. Most of them I can understand, but I really liked Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Juvenile, yes, but hilarious, too. I guess if you haven't seen all of Kevin Smith's other movies you wouldn't enjoy it much at all, though.

im kind of a weird person, i think, because i am like the only person in my age group i know who didn't like it. i just didn't think it was funny. and it just irritated me, to be perfectly honest. i like kevin smith movies, usually. my favorite one was clerks, so i guess that says it right there--most of my friends hated that one.
