The lyrics of this song,"Going Under" by "Evanescence" remind me of my naivety when i gave my heart and soul to a man, who jsut abused it. I was a lass with a fairytale romance planned out in her head. My eyes were opened and i was introduced to the real world of relationships, where nothing is quite as it seems, and you will get hurt!

I like Evanescence. The lead singer kind of reminds me of Sarah MacLaughlin with an edge.

Anyway, nothing I can say but choose wisely who you put your trust in ('cause there are a lot of icky people who will think nothing of abusing it), but try not to get so disillusioned because mutual love between two people isn't completely out of reach. Compromise, tough times, and yes - hurt, I believe come with any relationships. Even the best of relationship will have its misunderstandings, its up and downs (unfortunately). So long as there is no intentional abuse (mental, emotional, and/or physical), which I think the song you posted is implying there was, communication and understanding is probably the key to getting through those times.

If there's hint of lack of respect and abuse, run the other way as fast as you possibly can.

Sad songs reflect dissapointment and a loss of faith... don't allow the dissapointment to flow into your hope. Keep it at bay with thoughts of logic.

i'll never forget my first love ...yet wish i could cuz now that i think about him its like what was i thinking but like decius said don't let some one take away your faith of having another good relationship and don't ever let any one destroy your trust for another person you think is absolutely perfect for you because it takes a long time to learn how to do that again and yet you still learn from the experience of bein in a relationship with some one so going into the next you less nieve about what you think might happen its like your starting to be able to say been there done that and i'm soooo over it so good luck in your long search for prince charming and don't let one person and thier memory bring ya down ....and don't ya think decius is just so dreamy
