Birthdays [+ favourites]

What do they mean to you?

How do you celebrate them?

For myself Birthdays just mean that I am one year older and just another day. I don't really do anything to celebrate my birthday but the kids do bake me a cake.

For my kids I through them a party. Cake, ice cream, presents, games, the works.

I look forward to my birthday all year long, and hope that its as fun as I plan it to be. I usually get drunk, party and have fun. Isn't that what they are for?
So many good memories are on my birthday, I could go on and on.

I myself don't care much for birthdays, other than that they're another valid excuse for getting drunk!

Sure, the presents are nice, but its such a waste of money.

Many of my friends all have birthdays at the same time, so there's always one part of the year thati'm completely skint! lol

Plus i'm scatty, so i forget the birthdays, which just leaves me in the doghouse.... i don't see the point in them being such a big deal!

Birthdays are supposed to be fun, a day to spend with family and friends, and just do what the hell you want. But for some of us it's not that easy. I like to take the day off, if possible, and spend it doing whatever. Sometimes have a couple of drinks and see where the day/night takes you!

Amen.

When you reach my age, birthdays are to be forgotten.

However, today is my baby's birthday. She is officially now a teenager. Sunday she'll have a pool party and tonight we'll go out for dinner.

Birthdays are to be celebrated no matter if you are a kid or an adult. The parties are always a bigger thing for the kids, but they are also fun for the adults. We usually do BBQ's with cake, ice cream, etc. We also do something special for the adults. I enjoy birthdays.
