If you are having problems with popups......download a program called ...Adsgone... best popup stopper anywhere . I never leave home without it

I still get one or two popups for EVERY page I go to.

Hi Walts,

That is impossible. It is impossible, firtstly, for you to get more than one per page, and secondly it is nearly impossible for you to get one every page.

Of course, I'm only speaking on a mathematical basis, so what do I know.

I have the same problem Walts. Every 2 or 3 pages I load I get a 1 or 2 pop ups.

I don't mind it because I have dsl, and I kinda spend a lot of time on the comp so I have the motor skill to close them even before they pop up. I was just saying it to show decius that it isn't walts making it up.

Well Dug I appreciate your honestly, although I don't deny that popups exist (as per my message). I am stating that walts' over-exageration of them is definitely false.

The most likely possibility is he:

1. Has another window open that makes it look like it is in fact UGN that is doing this.

2. Has unknowingly installed 3rd party software that results in ads showing up.

3. Is simply observing the frequency of them incorrectly.

Regardless, I again state that it is impossible for there to be more than one popup every page, and highly unlikely to be one every page. If anything, Dug is correct in that every 2-5 pages a popup will show up, which although I don't like, is necessary at this time.

That has got to be a PopSwatter type of deal Firebird, unless you are controlling the PopUps on his comp.? LOL.

I still like this site the way it is now, don't know about the old one, but I also don't ge any popups because I use "PopSwatter" it is absolutely wonderful!

Wow...4 and a half years have gone by since I was a regular here...Wow!
I use MySpace these days and still spend alot of my time on eBay. I still search for celebrity pictures and found some on Flickster, although this site still features some of the best scans available.
I haven't changed my mind about the lay-out here...I have a hard time with the grayness of the background and I don't feel at home as I used to...it is so hard to explain because for a couple of years, this site was my home away from home! But that was the old Undergrounds...
So, you may see me in another 4 and a half years...
