I have been watching lots of television and reading lots of websites and speaking to lots of people about the events leading up to the war in Iraq. I know how many of you feel about it and respect all the opinions you all have.

At this point, I would like to create this thread as an "Information Exchange".

The rules:

1. Keep the posts reasonably short.
2. No opinions.
3. Only post portions of facts/statements, your definition of those facts, and a URL or any information regarding where you got that fact from.

I think it is very important that regardless of what we all feel or think, we accept the truth as it is and make conclusions based on that.

Breaking news just reported on MSNBC: General Tommy Franks will announce within the next 12 hours ( as of 4:00a.m. Pacific Time ) that 6 or 7 of our POWs / MIAs have been rescued by our forces and are in "good condtion. "
