The words comfort and security spring to mind when I think of money. I lived with very little of it as a young child, and having a little more of it now is a definite improvement I can tell you. Pople probably list money so high in their priorities because, right or wrong it is a priority. If you want a roof over your head, you need money. If you want heat and light, you need money. If you want to eat, you need money, because owning a home is like throwing cash down a bottomless pit... Its a pain, but like it or not its a necessity. Without money there would be no music, no mobile phones, no going to clubs and more imprtantly no health service. ambulances or fire brigade and no rubbish collections, our current standard of living would come to a complete end. I live in the suburbs of a large city in the North of England I see what having no money does to people every time I travel into the city centre, they are standing on the corners of streets selling The Big Issue.... I'm not saying that the the lust for wealth, corporate or otherwise is a good thing, its just a fact of life. Its maybe a bit harsh to blame the US and capitalism for 9/11..Osama bin Laden is hardly a reasonable man in fact he is as crazy as a loon... He hates everyone who doesn't agree with his twisted ideas of Islaam, even fellow muslims. He's entitled to believe in whatever he sees fit to believe in but not at the expense of all those people. Incidentally, he's also filthy rich and a complete hypocrit.
