I'm me.
The air I breathe.
Water around my fingertips.
It's a million tonnes of air.
And I feel like I'm getting in the way.
The earth is trying to suck it in
And I along with it.
What am I.
Who am I.
I am an entity... an animal.
Of this earth.
But I feel like space.
Someone else's space.
And I belong in a corner.
I surrender to you all.
I am nothing.
I am the shit on your heel.
I am weak, insignificant.
And if you forget me,
It is because I am utterly worthless.
I would be content,
Locked in a small room,
With just the darkness,
And my wretchedness.
Then maybe,
I will find peace.
Without the inconvenience I cause,
By breathing your air. |
