The chain has been broken.
I'm still going to carry on with taking as many photos as I can, but unfortunately I'm just going to be far too busy to remain faithful to my "a-picture-a-day" plan. Admittedly, it made it feel like a chore some days, and I don't ever want it to feel like that again.
I think challenging myself to take pictures non-stop for over a week has really helped me get back into photography though. Before this, the last pictures I'd taken were over a year ago, so I've taken more photo's in a week than I have in about 2 years.
I like the fact that I seem to have grown past the "over-editing in photoshop" phase that I went through as a teenager, and I think I have a better understanding of how to use light now, than I did back then. Though I still have so much to learn. |
