New frontiers I begin to cross
Pebbles that haven't been crossed

Many cycles,
Many tides of waves that have come and gone
Yet in my heart
There is a dread
Of what I feel beneath my feet
A dread that this step I walk,
This path I tread,
Is not what I desire it to be,
Leads not where I hope it will lead,

It seems that somewhere in my heart
A silent whisper is pressing
Pressing against the sides of my temples,
Pressing against the inside of my skin,
Telling me silently
That my stake in this matter will bring sorrow,
Will bring pain,
That my shoes are breaking
As I edge further
And further
Revealing more of my skin
To the unknown frontier,
