Photo taken 21/12/09 Day: 10 In a week I will officially be leaving the country, but I've been staying a few days at my new residence. It's amazing how close all of these houses are to each other, and it's just so busy in the scattered and abundant town areas. Just thinking about how close together and busy everything is, is stressful. One good thing about the area in which I'm moving into, is that this whole neighbourhood is rather quiet, which I'm thankful for. But I do feel claustrophobic within suburbia. My hometown is right on the coast, so finding a beach was never a problem because there were a zillion of them. Here, we struggle to find just one. They have open water that you can look at from behind fences, but there are no sandy beaches. We found one minuscule beach-like area, but the shore was lined with jagged rocks so it would be impossible to go swimming at. I don't know if I'll ever feel at home here. I don't know if I'll ever feel at home somewhere that isn't the country. I was really busy yesterday with organizing things for the new house, so this is the only picture I took yesterday. By the time I got around to having some free time, the sun had gone down and I didn't have a tripod to do some night photography. I don't want to add this to my "final collection"...but going to have to really. =(
