There was Always a sky above me |

The crest of the ocean at my feet Floating for thousands of years Above and below millions of ancient waves One last breath As they climbed to my toes And faded away Never to be seen Never to be identified dissolved Into another brother or sister Trying to touch my feet. The Sky opened up above me And swallowed me into its blackness And I was no longer on the beach. But in a chair. And there were no sounds of peace no ancient waves trying to reach me. just the clicks and clacks of finite machines doing my bidding. unlike my lovely waves infinite spirited sprites dying just to touch me. |
