Obelisk |

| Facing the Obelisk, I reach out and touch the edge that protrudes from the base of this large foreign structure. My hand glides up and down caressing each convex deformity. As the air grows cold and my breath becomes long and heavy I notice the Obelisk starting to glisten. I slide my index finger up and down slowly, playing in the moisture. My hand becomes soaked and shines much like the Obelisk. Dropping to my knees, I push the Obelisk and it pushes back. We go nowhere but continue to play reverse tug-o-war for several minutes. My body begins to tremble as time passes and I start to lose my patience. Shockingly, lightning shoots from the Obelisk and thunder resonates within my soul. My hand and the Obelisk fuse together in an instant and for a moment - I am God. |
