Core: The only certainty I know, is that I wish your best. Logic: 1: If you do not believe that I wish your best, then something in you biases you towards not seeing it. 2: I believe removing those biases is best for you. I therefore believe that you can remove those biases. 3: It is assumed and concluded that removal is best by my thought patterns, not yours. 4: Two fold a) You attempt to remove those biases because I advise you to, inevitably fail because you are doing it for me, inevitably resent me for making you feel like a failure b) Resentment supports opposing the belief that I want your best, which causes a more occurrent rate of failure and self-loathing. 5: The gradual and systematic degredation of the relationship. 6: The parting. Rough Estimate of Primary Problem: Insufficient freedom is provided by me, and requested by you, to independantly decide whether you wish to remove the bias, and in what way. This is fueled by our mutual fear of loss, for we are aware that if you choose not to remove the bias, our relationship will inevitably formalize and become distant. Solution: From me: Do not fear losing you, thereby providing you the freedom to decide with complete peace of mind. From you: Do not fear losing me, thereby providing you the freedom to decide with complete peace of mind. Caveats: a) I justify helping you with the decision because I certainly know it is the best decision for you. b) I am unable to gauge whether I am helping you because you require help or helping you because of my fears. c) It becomes easier to seek the solutions from me than from yourself, and you therefore become dependant on me for such things. |
